The IT 12-4B series is composed of inductive proximity sensors which use an alternating magnetic field from an oscillator. The entering of material made of metal to a magnetic field allows changing of oscillation amplitude. The sensors can operate with a minimum distance of 0.50 mm up to a maximum distance of 40.0 mm.
